SHCA achieved planning consent in 2005 for the redevelopment of Austral House (now named One Coleman Street). The nine-storey landmark building is clad in polished precast concrete panels with polished stainless steel trimmed windows and feature clad columns and is designed to provide highly efficient office accommodation.
The One Coleman Street redevelopment was designed in association with David Walker Architects. The nine-storey, 21,133 sq m (227,391 sq ft) office building contains typical floor plates of 1,906 sq m (20,516 sq ft). The scheme incorporates new public gardens in front of the adjacent Girdlers' Hall; relocation of access to the underground car park; and space for a future pedestrian link to the proposed CrossRail station at Moorgate.

With a net-to-gross ratio of approximately 90%, One Coleman Street is now one of the most space efficient buildings in London. The new design reconciles the historic texture of the traditional urban core with the less well-defined townscape of the adjacent London Wall. The new building hugs the gentle curve of London Wall, effectively defining the street.

The typical exterior wall is composed of polished precast concrete panels utilizing reconstituted stone aggregate. The storefront and upper storeys are clad in polished stainless steel.
