This project allowed the Design 360 team to highlight its exhibit design skills. The American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) had selected 'the lab' as the conceptual heart of its annual exhibit, encouraging Design 360 designers to explore all that the term implied.
An oversized Periodic Table of the Elements hung prominently on one wall in the exhibit space, while the AIGA logo was offset by chalkboard paint. Classic lab tables displayed entries from the various design categories and beakers served as colored beacons.
