An exciting new concept for a high quality retail centre in Kahramanmaras, South Eastern Turkey.
We were invited by ACTEEUM Group to develop a concept for a new retail centre in the historic city of Kahramanmaras in the mid-south part of Turkey.
The shopping centre concept comprises three retail floors and will accommodate around 130 top quality stores including a major hypermarket plus underground parking. At top floor level the centre will have entertainment facilities and a food court which will include a specialist restaurant opening onto a roof terrace that will overlook the city and the spectacular Toros Mountains.
The retail development will be the first of its kind in the mid-south part of Turkey. Kahramanmaras has a population of 371,500 people all of whom are within a 15 minute car journey of the site.
The retail centre is currently under development by ACTEEUM Group for Atrium European Real Estate. It will be built in two phases, will provide 59,000 sq m (635,000 sq ft) of leasable area and be constructed on a site of 36,028 sq m (388,000 sq ft) in a prime location that was previously occupied by the city's main bus terminus.
