Our aim was to produce a classic, tailored and restrained aesthetic that combines elements of colour from Bristow's new branding palette.
Bristows is a legal firm specialising in patent and trademark international law for new technologies, inventions and products.

After 30 years in a classic Georgian building the firm has relocated to 100 Victoria Embankment which combines a sleek modern atrium within a Grade 2 Listed building. The result is a modern workplace that supports their unique culture of blending leading-edge technical knowledge and traditional law.

The design includes client meeting rooms with riverside views, open plan secretarial and support areas, and a centralised 'hub' containing the library and staff break-out amenities. Fee earners are accommodated in square shared offices - a departure from the standard planning modules for law firms. Feedback from our user workshops confirmed that square offices improved internal layout, was more democratic and less hierarchical.
