Design two distinct hotels - one five-star and one 4-star - within one existing historic Paris building while upgrading the facade and all aspects of the interior.
The Hotel Concorde La Fayette was one of the first 'modern' hotels built in the heart of Paris. SHCA designed a comprehensive interior renovation, creating two distinct levels of service and accommodation within the property: a 340-room, five-star hotel and a separate 620-room four-star hotel.
SHCA's makeover extended to nearly every aspect of the building - from the facade to the china, flatware, uniforms and accessories. The design includes a new porte cochere, redesigned lobby, new lounge and bar. All of the building's services and systems were retrofitted. The hotel remained operational throughout the duration of the renovation.
