SHCA was appointed to produce a flexible workplace strategy that would support their business model, primarily focused on delivering cost savings from space efficiencies, whilst providing a quality flexible workplace for their workforce nationwide.
HBOS has a range of business streams, work styles, and a wide variety of office locations throughout the UK. It was vitally important for them to develop a consistent approach to workplace occupancy and design.
We undertook workplace research, time utilisation studies, and building analyses to produce HBOS ''futureSpace' - a flexible workplace strategy and design guidelines for implementation across the UK as a trigger point arises.
The strategy communicates the workplace philosophy and vision to business user groups, sets out clear occupancy targets and illustrates design guidelines and workplace change communications processes.
