Lehman Brothers asked SHCA to help with their relocation project into a new headquarters building by Canary Wharf Ltd at Heron Quays. The project represented a significant achievement for SHCA and the wider project team with regard to fast track fit-out projects, design management and the incorporation and control of change management.
SHCA has enjoyed a long term relationship with Lehman Brothers in London from their first fit-out at Broadgate in 1985, culminating with the opening of their new 1m sq ft(92,902 sq m) HQ at Canary Wharf.
The new building contains two 6,503 sq m (70,000 sq ft) trading floors, a 4,180 sq m (45,000 sq ft) computer data centre, a 230 seat tiered auditorium facility, TV and Broadcasting facilities, staff restaurant, coffee bar, trading floor delis, and fitness centre. The top of the building contains a formal conferencing suite and silver service client dining that incorporates a traditional aesthetic to reflect the Lehman's brand.
