SHCA have designed a concept for a complex in Bakirkoy, Istanbul to provide a major focal point on a rehabilitated seafront location.
The site is very conveniently located on the shoreline of the European continent, 8 km to Ataturk International Airport and has great views of The Marmara Sea, the new marina and the green park located along the the seafront.
The mixed use development has 110,000 sq m (1,185,000 sq ft) above ground construction area and 50,000 sq m (538,200 sq ft) of basement area with a capacity of 1573 parking spaces. It will include A+ residences, 4 star serviced apartments, a 5 star hotel and a conference centre.
The residence blocks are placed and planned in such a way that they all offer sea views. There are 2+1, 3+1, 4+1 and 5+1 units each with generous floor areas .
The scheme includes a 144 room serviced hotel with kitchens and living quarters and a 5 star hotel with with 325 rooms and 90 suites.
