SHCA was appointed to produce a Masterplan for a mixed use development for a major retailer to make full use of the new Express Rail Link with Dublin.
SHCA was appointed to produce a Masterplan for a new 10 hectare, 450m Euro mixed- use development for a major retail developer in Swords, the third largest town in Eire. The town has recently been linked to Dublin by the new Swords Express Railway Link and LTR infrastructure and is now a satellite of the capital.

SHCA worked in collaboration with a local architect for the proposal of an 80,000 sq m (860,000 sq ft) extension to the existing facility. The plan incorporates the creation of a podium to provide 146,000 sq m (1,600,000 sq ft) residential, office, hotel and community accommodation.

In addition there will be two major new public spaces, new retail streets, a commercial square with entertainment facilities and a large civic space which is provided by the Metrodeck which links the station with the new facilities and provides a link to the existing town.
