The Blackstone Group appointed SHCA to provide a highly cellular office environment which also affords a high quality open plan environment for the extended Blackstone team. Client meeting and reception rooms, executive and board areas are linked by a connecting staircase which was designed to support departmental working areas over four levels of the accommodation.
The Blackstone Group, a prestigious global financial services firm, appointed SHCA as lead consultant for its London office relocation. After developing the space requirements brief and evaluating the short-listed buildings, the goal was to design a cost-effective and top quality workplace within the 3,530 sq m (38,000 sq ft) space, located on the corner of Berkeley Square.
A dynamic staircase connects meeting space, reception rooms and executive/board areas and was specifically designed to support departments working over four floors.
The overall effect is a skillful blend of American corporate design aesthetics with a European twist, resulting in this elegant and fresh office design.
