SHCA is providing consulting programming and design services for a Technology Center that is part of an exciting collaboration between a major global financial institution and university located in Upstate New York. The new building will house departments for the financial institution while attracting university students to both the company and the banking industry.
The 120,000 sq ft (11,150 sq m) Technology Center will provide offices, collaboration space, public areas and a technology lab. Collaboration between "real world" work and academic activities will be a theme throughout the building. Planned as a LEED Platinum building, the Technology Center reflects the financial institution's commitment to sustainability and the health and welfare of its staff.
