The relocation of their London HQ to 14 Cornhill, gave VTB Capital the opportunity to revise their culture and strengthen their brand. A clear vision from the organisation is ultimately reflected in the space they occupy, inspiring confidence and attracting the best people.
The relocation to 14 Cornhill, opposite the Bank of England and including listed interior elements such as original timber panelling, provided an opportunity to blend old and new. SHCA worked with English Heritage to realise the client's technical needs within the constraints of preservation.

The project included conversion of historic spaces to state of the art video conference rooms and offices and an auditorium, designing 4,000 sq m of flexible office space and creating a flexible trading floor using 'dealer-lite' workstations and technology systems.

The floor plans offered a difficult planning grid that has three axes. The design and layout work with the building to create a simple and elegant space with far reaching internal views and key components to add interest to the open plan design.

The end result is a subtly dynamic interior that inspires communication between staff and an environment which strengthens the VTB brand.
